The purpose of the Teacher's Pay Conversations Project is to support open, honest, and spontaneous mutually satisfying communications about teacher's salaries. 

It might appear that this site is about getting a pay raise for teachers. On the contrary, it's about getting to the truth about the disparity—it's about the importance of complete and accurate acknowledgment. It's an opportunity to communicate, in a space free of fear, uncomfortableness and embarrassment, what's so for us about teachers, our educations and teacher's salaries.

Our teacher pay system covertly communicates to teachers that they don't deserve parity with their more financially successful graduates. It also reveals that skilled laborers have not been taught to bring their mentors along with them.
