Imprisonment for parents of a terrorist

A news report I'd like to read:

Imprisonment for parents of a terrorist

Legislators are considering mandatory imprisonment for both parents of a child of theirs who kills noncombatants by blowing themselves up.

Parents would accept responsibility for training and condoning their child's acts of terrorism.

Condoning meaning:
If a parent continues to remain in-communication with their child once they've asked, "Do you think it's right to blow yourself up so as to kill noncombatants? If you do, we do not want to talk with you ever again until you can assure us that you'll not be party to such acts."
The conversations between family members, who now silently condone martyr acts of terrorism, would be considerably different.

A parent could register with the police that they wish it to be publicly known that they have officially estranged themselves from their child whom they know to be committed to acts of martyrdom. Estranged meaning, zero communications, letters, gifts, messages, visits.

Estranged parents would be required to attend weekly leadership-relationship communication support group sessions. They would do this as an acknowledgment that something about how they have been relating-communicating with their child, something about their leadership-communication skills, trained their child to believe that it's heroic/religious to kill non-combatants if the reason is good enough.
