Condescending announcers

HPR-1 & HPR-2:  It appears that Justine Willis Toms, Bethany (Beth Ann) Koslovitch and Noni Kawagawa used to teach second graders. These announcers talk as though they were talking to children. It's too bad because their topics are excellent.

Communicating from condescension is learned. It can be corrected.

The problem is that the person who hired them did not consult with a communication-skill coach. i.e. "Can you think of any reason listeners might be turned off by her voice?"
