Mahalo: Pahoa County Council Office staff

Mahalo to Auntie Naeole and the County Council Staff (Malama Shopping Center—Pahoa) for their diligence in keeping Ahalanui (Hot Pond) vendor-free.

It's so discouraging to see what happens when the police don't check the park regularly so as to enforce the "No business in park area" sign—within a week another vendor sets up a tent and table and then... — it's how Waikiki started.

The Ahalanui Hot Pond is one of the few spots for residents and tourists alike where there are no merchants.
